The focus of the second day is Machu Picchu. Watch the Sun Gate at dawn. With our knowledgeable guides, explore the ruins. We will return you to Cusco to complete the Machu Picchu excursion.

Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu Overnight ITINERARY
Day 01 – The Sacred valley & Machu Picchu overnight
At 7:00 am in Cusco, we will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to begin your trip to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. The road that goes to Pisac will thereafter be our route. We will visit the four main sites: Ollantaytambo Archeological Site, Pisac Market, Pisac Archeological Site, and Awana Cancha, where you may observe alpacas, llamas, Vicuña, and huanacos. We will stop at Urubamba for lunch halfway through, following which we may optionally visit the Brewery before continuing on to the Archeological Center of Ollantaytambo. Depending on availability, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes at either 03:37 or 7:30 p.m. after our tour to Ollantaytambo. After reaching Aguas Calientes, we check into our hotel, have supper, and spend the night there.
Day 02 – Machu Picchu Guided Tour – Return to Cusco
Machu Picchu on the second day is the most spectacular. In order to catch the first bus up to Machu Picchu and witness the dawn over the ruins, we will get up early.
After being picked up from your hotel by our guide, you will proceed to the bus terminal. The journey to Machu Picchu by bus takes half an hour. Our guide will lead you to the guardhouse once we provide our passport and Machu Picchu ticket. There, we will snap a postcard photo of Machu Picchu and spend around fifteen minutes admiring the new Seven Wonders of the World before giving you a brief overview of the city’s history. Our guide will next follow circuit 2 and spend around two hours touring Machu Picchu’s main attractions. The main entrance, Sun Temple, Inca quarry, major plaza, Inca home, holy rock, condor temple, and other places will be visited.
