Another excellent route to take the train from ollantaytambo to machu picchu, we take the tour along the sacred valley visiting the pisaq ruins and market with an end at the train station in ollantaytambo, this tour can be started from the Cusco airport or any hotel in Cusco. First we will be visiting the awanacancha site, this site is considered as the farm of South American camelids, there you can see the llama, alpaca, vicuña, huanano. Pisaq archaeological site is listed as one of the most important sites of the Sacred Valley, and is strategically built between the hills of the Valley and on the basin of the Vilcanota River that crosses the Sacred Valley, that has the shape of an Andean partridge. Pisaq local market, is attended by a mix of local merchants and artisans who come from neighboring towns to sell their products, many of the products offered here are hand woven. Then heading to ollantaytambo if we have time left we can visit the archaeological site of ollantaytambo, it was built by the Inca sovereign Pachacutec on top of two mountains, it was called a military, religious, administrative and agricultural complex, and strategic place for astronomical observation.

To visit these sightseeing sites, you must definitely have the tourist ticket, that allows you to enter the tourist sites, there are two types of tourist tickets

How do you buy the tourist tickets? it is very easy to do it, you can get them at the tourist galleries site as well as in the first place you are going to visit, the cost is in national currency (PEN). Student rate corresponds to people between 10 to 17 years old, upon verification of their respective passport, while students from 18 to 25 years old upon verification of the student card (ISIC CARD)
